To all our clients-
It has been brought to our attention that effective
September 30th, 2009, Bank of America will no longer be accepting
8109 coupons for payment of federal and FUTA withholding payroll taxes that are
due on a monthly and/or quarterly basis. Is your bank far behind?
We will be more than happy to set you up on the electronic
payment system that the IRS has had in operation for several years, know as
“EFTPS”. This will require obtaining a
“pin number” and this process will take up to 2 weeks to receive, the pin
number will be mailed to your address and should be faxed and/or mailed to AFS
as soon as possible.
Those clients who bank with Bank of America or any other clients,
who bank at other banks, if you would like us to follow through with the
application process, please let us know by September 10, 2009. We are sure that once Bank of America
institutes this procedure other banks will follow suit as well. AFS Inc. TAXSAVERS then can call in you tax
payments for you each month or you may do it as well, but payments as always
will be due on the 15th of the month unless you are a bi-weekly depositor.
